Like many great businesses, Last Stop Brewing in Shelbyville, KY began when some like-minded folks teamed up. In 2007, Jon, one of our founders, started experimenting as a home brewer. He continued pursuing his passion for home brewing when he relocated from Colorado to Kentucky. When COVID hit, Jon spent that time perfecting his craft and diving deeper into the world of craft brews.
Following COVID, Jon and Steve opened Oldham Brewing Company in Prospect, KY. Using the handful of recipes to begin commercial brewing. A problem soon arose. Good beer produced on a small system sells very quickly. A bigger system and a change of location was needed in order to grow. Mike joined the team and Last Stop Brewing was formed. Since then, we’ve relocated to Shelbyville and have acquired a seven-barrel system for production.
